前两天贴出休伦港宣言，这个海登是60年代一个学运头子，老左派，革命期间娶了简方达，革命的热呼气一过，简方达又回到资本主义老板的怀抱里去了。

海登大学一年级的时候看到了《在路上》，特激动，后来中央情报局调查这帮年轻人是否受  到社会主义国家的资助，海登说，我们的偶像是杜威，是怀特米尔斯，是塞林格。
这家伙现在还很健康，接受了我们的电子邮件采访，他说

Our society, and many others, have become more democratic, more fulfilling for millions of people. But of course we have not been able so far to overcome the deeper problems of undemocratic and unpopular wars like Iraq, or the military-industrial powers behind those undemocratic and unpopular wars. The greatest legacies are many laws and cultural norms promoting greater equality and participation.
That is why so many American peace and justice activists stand in solidarity with the people of Tibet who are seeking to preserve their inalienable cultural and religious rights against an unpopular occupation. This is not reactionary or anti-Chinese, but is consistent with the belief in a more participatory democracy.

在今天的世界上，一个人对事态的把握程度越高，他的思想就越少冲击力。如果一个人知道的越多，灰心失望的情绪也越大，那么，它只能说明知识的权力正在一步步缩小。对能够预见的事情无力进行控制，往往会使人产生孤立无援的感觉。
